No, they were simply here to provide more consumers and customers for their ever-expanding multi-galactic civilization. A civilization built upon trade, commerce and instantaneous portal-travel!
Overwhelmed by the premature exposure to crazy technological advancements, humanity is causing unimaginable amounts of trouble all over the universe. As a consequence, the fate of mankind and the planet hangs in the balance!
To our small band of heroes, the order of the universe is suddenly not as Utopian as once believed. New incidents also suggest that things are about to get much worse...
